Snowbird Street Band is a Southern Illinois Folk-Grass duo with Cody Dawkins on banjo, Betsy Brink on guitar, and joined by other musicians sporadically!  We had a wonderful summer- Check out one of our favorite moments at Makanda Vulture Fest above.

What else is new?

The music video for our song “Fall Flowers” was released on December 10th with a screening party at Hangar 9 in Carbondale.  The video was produced and directed by our friend, Jesse Payne.  Check it out under the “Video” section!

We also play in The Hornworms Marching Band which can be found by searching that name on Facebook or YouTube.  Check them out when you have a chance!

Written by Cody Dawkins, this song was recorded in our recently purchased tiny home in Carbondale, Illinois. The lyrics were written before we had the house, and are weirdly prophetic to the path we have started down this summer in our homesteading endeavor.
